§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will seek powers to ensure that travel concessions are made available to bona fide school pupils, when the school leaving age is raised to 16 years.
§ Mr. van Straubenzee:Local education authorities already have power to assist such pupils with the cost of travel to and from school.
