HC Deb 02 May 1972 vol 836 c70W
37. Sir G. Nabarro

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what steps he is taking to deal with the dislocation caused by working to rule and go slows in nationalised industries, notably transport; and whether he will introduce amending legislation specifically to cover restrictive practices by organised labour.

Mr. Maurice Macmillan:

My policy is to do whatever I can to help to secure a settlement in the disputes in which these practices take place. I do not think that further legislation is presently required to deal with these matters.
