§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much money was given by way of loan to private property owners in Glasgow for storm damage repairs; and of this sum how much still remains to be repaid to the central Government.
§ Mr. Gordon Campbell£6.1 million has been paid by Glasgow Corporation, with the assistance of a Government loan of £3.9 million for the repair of about 65,000 privately owned houses. £0.5 million of this loan was repaid some time ago, and the balance is about to be repaid in full.
