§ 47. Dame Irene Wardasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on improved conditions for registered fever nurses who wish to continue their employment in the nursing profession but are unable to spare the time to take further training.
§ Mr. AlisonA registered fever nurse who is unable to work in an infectious diseases hospital and is unable to take further training can take a nursing post in another type of hospital at the enrolled nurse rate of pay This is in accordance with an agreement of the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council and it would be for the Whitley Council to consider any improvement.
