§ Mr. Lomasasked the Prime Minister why he has not consulted the Association of the British Chamber of Commerce as well as the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress in view of the fact that the Association of the British Chamber of Commerce represents over 50,000 small companies as defined by the Bolton Report.
§ The Prime MinisterThe consultation I have had with the T.U.C. and the 263W C.B.I. have involved general economic issues with which these two bodies have previously been concerned in other discussions at national level. My right hon. Friends and I are of course very willing to consider any representations which the association may wish to put forward on behalf of its members.
