§ Mr. Laurance Reedasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will bring to the notice of local authorities in the Lake District the grants payable under the Requisitioned Land and War Works Act, 1945, so that they may be encouraged to remove, without cost to themselves, the obsolete military pillboxes which mar the landscape.
