§ Mr. Moneyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he intends to introduce legislation to implement the recommendations of the Brodrick Committee's Report regarding doctors' certificates before cremation.
§ Mr. CarlisleThese recommendations could not be put into effect independently of legislation to give effect to the committee's recommendations for changing the present system of certifying the cause of death.
The Government are studying the report, but I am not yet in a position to add anything to the reply which I gave to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Pembroke on 10th February.—[Vol. 830, c. 421.]
