However, 28 closures of establishments, each of which resulted in more than 50 people being made redundant, have been notified to my Department in the last five years in the Tooting and Battersea Employment Exchange areas and in that part of Fulham Employment Exchange area south of the Thames. As a result of these closures 4,200 people were made redundant.
