What is the present position in relation to the pilot scheme proposed by The National Association for Mental Health and The National Council for Civil Liberties for providing for representation and assistance to patients in mental hospitals applying for their discharge to mental health review tribunals.
§ LORD ABERDAREThe Department of Health and Social Security have been told by the National Association for Mental Health that they have been unable to raise funds for the scheme from other sources and they have asked for financial help from Government sources. This is still under consideration.
