§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will examine the possibility of employing male nurses for the home visiting of the elderly who are in need of home nursing facilities in order to relieve the current shortage of district nurses.
§ Mr. AlisonThere is no bar in the district nursing service to the employment of men, who currently form some 4.7 per cent. of total home nursing strength in England.
