§ Lord BalnielThe regulations governing the publication of books by serving officers require serving members of Her 147W Majesty's Forces who wish to publish information or views on matters affecting the Armed Forces, or on matters to which they have had access in their official capacity, to seek permission beforehand from the Ministry of Defence. These regulations are kept under regular review.
