§ Sir Alec Douglas-HomeFourteen of those killed are thought to have held British passports, but I have not been able to establish precise citizenship status. The next of kin of these 14 have been informed. In only five cases were the next of kin resident in the United Kingdom. As the House will know from my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Ormskirk (Mr. Soref) on 12th June, the Government have made a contribution of £25,000 to the disaster relief fund.—[Vol. 838, c. 972.]
