§ Mr. Roger Whiteasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will encourage the fitting of reflective rear markings on light goods vehicles on a permissive basis in the interests of road safety, in view of the number of organisations who operate light goods vehicles which by nature of their occupation have to travel at different speeds from the rest of the traffic and park in exposed places.
