asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will estimate the number of civil servants to be employed at the proposed Intervention Board for Agriculture to be situated at Reading.

The present estimate is about 300. There will be staff savings later by this Department in the administration of deficiency payments.
