Mr. James Dempsey

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT details showing the number of unsolved murders in each police authority area in the last 10 years.

The numbers of cases of murder made known to the police in each year from 1961 to 1970 and not yet cleared up are shown below. There were no such cases in areas not mentioned in the table.
