§ Mr. BryanTraining allowances were substantially increased last September and are now up to £5 per week above unemployment benefit. I regret that information about the number and percentage of unemployed workers undertaking training is not available. However 66 per cent. of all applicants accepted for training during September, 1971, were unemployed.
