§ 36. Mr. Oramasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what offers of air to the authorities in Dacca have been made by Her Majesty's Government to help overcome the economic and social problems arising from the recent war; and whether, in discussions about the form of such aid, he will ensure that all necessary help is made available to the Comilla co-operative scheme in view of its record of achievement in rural development.
§ Mr. KershawHer Majesty's Government have made no offers of aid to the present authorities in East Pakistan, but in any future aid programme my right hon. Friend would certainly consider a request for assistance for the comilla co-operative scheme.
