§ Mr. David PriceThese matters feature in the far-reaching recommendations of the Select Committee on Science 5W and Technology in its report on the Computer Industry, which is now being considered. A scheme of Government contracts to assist the development of new computer products and applications, which was foreshadowed in the answer which my right hon. Friend the Minister for Aerospace gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Sheffield, Hallam (Mr. J. H. Osborn) on 30th July, 1971, is now under way.
