Mr. Thorpeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress has been made in the discussions between the Commission of Human Rights and Her Majesty's Government regarding the 31 United Kingdom passport holders from East Africa whose cases were recently considered by the Commission; and what steps Her Majesty's Government intend to take to secure a settlement with the persons concerned.
