§ Sir K. JosephA number of unofficial leaflets have been circulating recently purporting to explain the entitlement of strikers and their families to supplementary benefit. I understand that in view of this, the Supplementary Benefits Commission is considering whether further information should be made public about the exercise of their discretionary powers when claims for benefit are received during strikes.
