§ Mr. HigginsAdvice has been received from a number of other Government Departments with considerable experience in handling total national flows, from the Civil Service Department Computers Division and from Operational Research consultants.
§ 87. Mr. Warrenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer to what extent information on the proposed value-added tax being given to professional and trade associations exceeds that given in the Green Paper.
§ Mr. HigginsMany ideas and possibilities have been discussed with professional and trade bodies in the process of consultation on the basis of the Green Paper, but information about decisions on the proposed value-added tax legislation must await the forthcoming Budget Statement.
