HC Deb 18 February 1972 vol 831 cc188-9W
Mr. Batsford

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what prosecutions there have been for acts of violence in the case of the wreck of the Dutch East Indiaman "Hollandia".

Mr. Anthony Grant

None. My answer given to the hon. Gentleman on this point on 20th January contained a mistake and should have read,In appropriate cases however a salvor may obtain protection from the courts against interference by others with salvage operations on which he is engaged, and I understand that this has been done in the case of the wreck believed to be that of the "Hollandia".
