§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will seek powers to ensure that heads of schools report all accidents sustained by their pupils, outside or in close proximity to their schools, to her Department.
§ Mrs. ThatcherI already have power under the Education Acts to enable me to obtain any information I need to carry out my functions under the Acts, but I do not think it necessary for all accidents to school children to be reported to my Department.
