Sinclair) on 9th November, 1971 the figures for 1st January, 1972 omit certain staff not employed by Government Departments but deemed to be civil servants for superannuation purposes, the staff of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration and the Exchequer and Audit Department and certain judicial officers—[Vol. 825, c. 130–40.] and non-industrial civil servants, and compare these figures with those for one yea previously.
