Mr. Haselhurst

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) whether the Operation Eyesore Scheme will apply to the Borough of Prestwich; and what rate of Government grant will operate;

(2) whether the Operation Eyesore Scheme will apply to the Borough of Middleton; and what rate of Government grant will operate;

(3) whether the Operation Eyesore Scheme will apply to the Urban District of Whitefield; and what rate of Government grant will operate.

The scheme will extend to all three areas; the rate of grant will be 75 per cent. in each case.
