§ Mrs. ThatcherNone, except that the Teachers' Superannuation (Family Benefits) Regulations, 1970, require men teachers to forfeit a percentage of their salaries for the purpose of providing pensions for their widows and children. Women teachers are excluded from this compulsory scheme but may voluntarily, within limits, make provision for pensions for their widowers and other dependants.
