§ Mr. Peter Mills
asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) why no member of the National Farmers Union or Country Landowners Association has been appointed by him to Dartmoor National Park Committee;
(2) why no member of the Dartmoor Commoners Association has been appointed by him to the Dartmoor National Park Committee.

It is not my right hon. Friend's policy to appoint members of national park authorities as representatives of particular organisations.
