asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what was the waiting list for geriatric beds on 31st December or the latest available date in the area provided for by the Southampton Group Hospital Management Committee;

(2) how many geriatric beds there are in hospitals under the control of the Southampton Group Hospital Management Committee.
