asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in view of the importance to United Kingdom exports and invisible earnings of having modern exhibition facilities in the London area as well as Birmingham, he will now grant outline planning consent for the proposed exhibition centre adjoining Northolt Airport.

My right hon. and learned Friend is considering the report of the inquiry held last June and will issue his decision as soon as possible.
