§ Mr. Dudley SmithPrivate employment agencies are not required to identify themselves to my Department and in many areas of the country are not required to be licensed by local authorities. Comprehensive information about their activities is therefore not available, although my Department is aware of a number of organisations that deal specifically with older workers at professional and executive level.
