§ Dr. Vaughanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will initiate a review of the need for replacing old people's community homes with new modern buildings, with a view to seeking powers to give assistance in this regard.
§ Mr. AlisonMy Department has recently carried out a national census of old people's homes which will provide information about the extent of the need for replacement. My right hon. Friend hopes to publish a report on the census next summer.
