asked the Secretary of State for the Environment which local authorities have had buildings for sale schemes approved by the Department of the Environment in 1972, to date.

The following authorities have had building for sale schemes approvedBattle RD, Birmingham CB, Bromley LB, Chichester B, Corby UD, Cranbrook RD, Droitwich RD, Kings Lynn B, Sale B, Sheffield CB, Southend CB, Sunbury-on-Thames UD, Sunderland CB, Sutton LB, Swindon B, and Worthing RD.

Several other local authorities have building-for-sale schemes under consideration.
