§ Mr. Goldingasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will ensure that the proposal put to her that the North Staffordshire Polytechnic be developed on a single site at Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent, be approved rather than the alternative.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasAlternative proposals for future development of the polytechnic have been submitted by the joint education committee and by the Stoke-on-Trent local education authority. I am about to invite representatives of those two bodies to meet me.
