§ 52. Dr. John A. Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for Employment if, prior to the completion of his study of the problems, he will take steps to increase the incentives for training women, and to improve the training opportunities for women in industry.
§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkCourses in Government training centres are open to men and women alike, and the expansion of training through the training opportunities scheme will increase the provision for the training of women. I shall consider whether any further measures are required in the light of the study being undertaken by my Department of the problems encountered by women in securing equal treatment with men in the employment and training fields.
