§ Q3. Mr. James Lamondasked the Prime Minister if he will now seek to include in his visit to Manchester on 21st August a meeting with textile manufacturers from South-East Lancashire.
§ The Prime MinisterI regret that my very full programme of engagements including opening the World Assembly of Youth will not permit me to undertake such a meeting. I met representatives of Lancashire textile manufacturers and trade unions last October and they explained their problems very fully to me on that occasion.
