§ Mr. DeanSo far over 5,000 claims have been received in Wales. Separate figures of awards for Wales are not yet available but by 12th October out of some 2,600 claims considered, 1,600 have been accepted as satisfying the medical conditions, excluding cases where application has been made for review.
