§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is aware of the growing practice of the owners of private cars and other vehicles having their windscreens and glass windows sprayed with dark blue and black dyes, making it almost impossible to see inside and outside of the vehicles; and whether, in the interests of road safety and to prevent criminal activities, he will take action to make this practice illegal.
§ Mr. PeytonMy Department is assisting in the preparation of an international standard covering the drivers' field of vision, which will include a minimum light transmission figure.
