HC Deb 16 November 1971 vol 826 cc126-8W
Mr. Stratton Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what arrangements have been made for the Northern Ireland Government to make information available to Her Majesty's missions overseas, so that they can pass on information and guidance on the situation in Northern Ireland, to correspondents and agencies.

Mr. Anthony Royle

As I said in my reply to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Londonderry (Mr. Chichester-Clark) on 28th October, Her Majesty's missions overseas receive information and guidance on all aspects of the situation in Northern Ireland, for use in regular and where practicable detailed briefing of correspondents and agencies. This includes information on the policies and statements of the Northern Ireland Government.—[Vol. 823, c.443.]
