§ Mr. BryanThe percentage rises in prices as measured by the General Index of Retail Prices in the years ended mid-April 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971 were 3 .6, 3 .0, 4 .4, 5 .5, 5 .6 and 9 .4 respectively. The rise in the 12 months ended mid-September 1971 was 9 .9 per cent.
