§ Mr. R. Carr64,000 young persons under 18 years of age were registered as unemployed in mid-October. Careers officers are doing all they can to help them find suitable employment and new200W training opportunities have been made available. The Government's economic measures will improve employment prospects for young people as well as adults. Already there are signs of some increase in industrial activity.
