§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will take action to draw to the attention of industrialists, businesses and service industries the need for, and the advantages of, fire insurance and protection, and the need for this to protect factories and workshops and the employment of workers in industry.
Mr. SharpiesRelevant publicity is regularly disseminated by the British Insurance Association, and by the Fire Protection Association. These bodies are represented on the Joint Information Sub-Committee of the Central Fire Brigades Advisory Councils, which is concerned with the promotion of fire prevention publicity generally.
