§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when the hon. 116W Member for West Ham, North, may expect a reply to his communication regarding assistance being afforded to Mr. N. P. Stone of Caernarvon Road, E.15; whether he will give help to this man; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. DeanI sent a reply to the hon. Member's communication on 25th October and the Chairman of the Supplementary Benefits Commission also wrote to him on 5th November telling him of the help given to Mr. Stone.
