§ Mr. Graham PageThe main recommendations in the Report of the Technical Committee on the Disposal of Solid Toxic Wastes, which was published in August, 1970, are complementary to and are being considered with those of the Working Party on Refuse Disposal which was published on 27th April, 1971. In Circular 26/71 my right hon. Friend indicated he has accepted in principle that the disposal of solid waste should be co-ordinated over reasonably large areas and that there should be a greater measure of control.
