§ Mr. Oswaldasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now seek to amend the Acts and regulations relating to traffic signals, to enable drivers of fire appliances, ambulances and police vehicles proceeeding to an emergency to continue through the red lights when it is safe to do so, without running the risk of prosecution for a traffic offence.
