§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the value of annual output per man employed in agriculture in the United Kingdom; and what are the comparable figures for the European Economic Community countries.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartThe following figures give estimates for the countries concerned of the gross product per person engaged in agriculture, forestry and fisheries. Separate information for agriculture alone in the European Economic Community countries is not available. The estimates provide a broad indication of relative output per person, but precise comparisons cannot be made because the methods of measuring gross output vary between countries.
