§ Mr. Dellasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will now make a statement on the Dee crossing.
§ Mr. Graham PageA report by consultants in 1967 established the engineering feasibility of a new crossing of the Dee. Last year planning consultants reported on the potential for growth, with particular reference to the Flint-shire side of the estuary, which a new crossing would give. Further engineering studies have recently been concluded into the possible positioning of a road crossing and into the form which associated water-conservation and recrea-306W tional facilities might take. The consultants' report of these studies is expected to be available by the end of April. It will be on sale through H.M.S.O. The report should not be seen in isolation; it covers only one aspect of a complex of investigations.
