§ Mr. Laneasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he will announce the terms of reference for the forthcoming public inquiry into the Cambridge western bypass.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineMy right hon. Friend has today announced the appointment of Mr. F. A. Adams, C.B., as an independent inspector to hear objections and representations to the published proposals for the Cambridge Western Bypass and the improvement of the A604 from Girton to Godmanchester and the alterations to the side roads affected by those proposals. The public inquiry will commence on Tuesday, 11th May, at the Shire Hall, Cambridge.
