Figures of public investment in new construction for the United Kingdom as a whole and for each of the New Standard Regions for the years 1965–66 to 1969–70 are given in Table 35 of the Abstact of Regional Statistics (No. 6, 1970). Estimates of the population analysed in the same way for the years 1967, 1968 and 1969 appear in Table 5 of the same publication.
