Mr. Pavittasked the Attorney-General if he will institute proceedings against Electronics (Croydon) Limited and John Barnaby of 1124, Whitgift Centre, Croydon, for selling hearing aids in contravention to the Hearing Aid Council Act, 1968, which makes it an offence to sell aids without being registered.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI understand that the local police investigated an alleged breach of the Act by this company, and decided that criminal proceedings should not be instituted. No evidence has been placed before me which would justify a prosecution.
