§ 115. Mr. Brewisasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the powers which are available to burghs to subsidise rural bus services which pass through their boundaries.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellSection 34 of the Transport Act, 1968, gives power to any county, town or district council, acting singly or jointly, to subsidise a bus service which in its opinion is, or will be, for the benefit of persons residing in rural areas.
